What is a Technology Innovation SME(Inno-Biz)?The Inno-Biz certification—a portmanteau of "Innovation" and "Business"—is designed to identify and select small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with technological competitiveness and future growth potential. The program then nurtures these companies into globally competitive innovative enterprises through linkage with government support measures.
By obtaining Inno-Biz certification, companies can enjoy various benefits, such as exemptions from additional acquisition taxes in the metropolitan area. They are also eligible to participate in R&D support programs like the Startup Growth Technology Development Program and the Overseas/Certification Standard-compliant Product Technology Development Program.Furthermore, companies can enhance their competitiveness through several other government support initiatives, including the Industrial Technical Personnel System, the Specialized Research Personnel System, the Global Growth Enterprise Nurturing Program, priority procurement for technology development products, and market entry support for excellent products in public shopping malls.
